Guy Challenge is an event built exclusively for men.

Guy Challenge is a place to cut loose, relax, laugh, be well fed, get inspired, encouraged, and challenged. Guy Challenge is a place where you will be armed to be a courageous follower of Jesus in your everyday life.

Our theme this year is Everyday Hero: Man of Action. Heroes aren’t just for the headlines. Men are called to put their faith into action. Heroes are made out of the foundry of the day to day grind.

Guy Challenge will equip you with practical tools for your everyday life. Our vision is to see men raised up to be a Godly force leaving a lasting impact on their families, the church, community, and the world.

Billy Ramsdell

Sweet Tea, BBQ, fried chicken, humidity, hot Christmases, college football, street basketball and playing in the dirt–this was Billy’s childhood in the East Tampa area of Florida. Now, as an official Coloradan of 14 years, it’s mountains, chapstick, hiking, Broncos, great church, family and friends.

Billy married his college sweetheart and has five amazing kids who, he says, “are smarter and better looking” than he could ever be. He received his BA in Pastoral Ministries with focus on Conflict & Organizational Management from Trinity College of the Bible.

Billy, who was ordained as a Pastor in 1995, has served churches–large and small–with several years in corporate sales, business development and consulting. He has served as board of director for several start up organizations, a leading charter school and an amazing city wide service organization.

Billy currently serves as the Director of Development & Donor Relations for Save the Storks.

When he’s not saving storks, he loves to travel, hike, dream big, read, eat out, go to movies, serve with church and church planters, and create adventures with his wife. You can often find him listening to rap, worship, powerful preaching, and even some techno-dubstep-disco-funk.

Billy Molls

Billy’s experiences fishing, trapping, and hunting with his father and grandfathers in the lakes, ponds, and woods near his Wisconsin home nurtured a passion for outdoor adventure that could only be contented in the wilds of Alaska. At the age of 19 he left the family dairy farm to fulfill his dream. After attending a guide school in Montana and a two-year apprenticeship in the bush of the Last Frontier, Billy became a licensed Alaskan big-game hunting guide. For the past 20 years he has led sportsman from around the globe to some of the most remote regions of the state in pursuit of Dall sheep, moose, caribou, wolf, brown bear, and grizzly bear.

Having a deep appreciation for the unspoiled wilderness and its wildlife, and the lifestyle he leads living in a tent for over 100 days a year, Billy passionately portrays his knowledge and experiences with his hunters, and through his writings, videos, and presentations. A registered guide, author, public speaker, and producer of The Modern Day Mountain Man DVD series, Billy is also a columnist for Bear Hunting Magazine, Hunt Alaska, and Hunter’s Path.

As a husband and father of three growing daughters, leaving my family to answer “the call of the wild” is increasingly difficult every year. Yet with the passing of each season, my time spent in the Alaskan bush becomes more fulfilling and rewarding. The natural phenomena one witnesses, the challenges one must overcome, and the perspectives gained while living and hunting in a world that is untouched by man is something I am grateful to be able to share with those closest to me and others around the world who have the spirit of a “mountain man” within them.

Save the Storks

Save the Storks exists to partner with pregnancy resource centers and give abortion-vulnerable women a choice that will change their lives forever. They partner with resource centers all over the nation, providing them with powerful tools and training to more effectively connect with those women in their communities. Through donor support, thay’ve funded 54 buses (35 are on the road and another 19 in production), and saved over 1,000 babies.

Local pregnancy centers offer an incredible service for expectant mothers by providing ongoing health care and support to women in crisis during their pregnancy and after their baby is born.

Through Save the Stork's partnership with pregnancy centers, they provide the tools and resources these centers need to get closer to those who need their services. Thier Stork Bus minimizes the distance between pro-life professionals and the women who most need them, and our various consulting packages help pregnancy centers understand how to better utilize their staff and resources to reach a greater number of women.
